Living pieces,
short runs.

When a run sells out, it is not repeated: the glaze changes, the hand changes, the piece changes.

The process

From clay
to kiln.

Ceramicist wedging clay in the studio

Step 01 — Wedging

The clay rests

Stoneware wedged by hand and left to rest until the air is out. No rush: the clay sets the pace.

Step 02 — The wheel

No mold, no template

Every piece is raised freehand. That is why no two are identical — and that is the point.

House recipes

First firing, then a dip in glazes formulated in house. Cobalt № 04 took a year to get right.

№ 04

Shelves full of pieces ready for the kiln

Step 04 — High firing

The fire decides

Fourteen hours of firing. We open the kiln the way you open a gift: with respect.

1,240 °C

No mold. No rush. No two pieces alike.

We make objects for every day: mugs that survive the microwave, plates that survive life. The only museum piece here is the craft itself.
